I heard Dr. Caroline Myss recite this prayer during one of her lectures. It touched me deeply with its beautiful simplicity and wholeness, that I simply had to share it with you.
You can say it at the break of dawn, when you are surrounded by silence, imagining there is no one there but you, the dawn and the One who created you both.
Give to me this day a clear and watchful eye
Give to me this day a firm and gentle touch
Give to me this day a good and receptive ear
Give to me this day a clean discerning taste
Give to me this day a subtle sense of smell
Give to me this day an openness of heart
Give to me this day an awareness, now, of You.
